The Transfer Episode 37: At A Distance

In this episode, we discuss how Jesus tells Peter that this very night he will deny him - this was at the Last Supper. Peter argues and makes the claim that even if everyone else abandons Christ he never will. Peter boldly says that he is willing to go to prison and even death along side Jesus yet after Christs arrest in the garden every gospel records that Peter chose to follow at a distance. Peter followed close enough to see Jesus but not close enough to be seen with him.

We too have a choice in how we follow Christ, will we draw close, or keep our distance.
