The Vision

Where We’ve Been. Who We Are. Where God Is Leading Us.
2021-2026 (and beyond)

Major Victories

Over the past five years, what God has done in and through our church family in Delaware County, Oklahoma, can only be described as a modern-day miracle. From an average attendance of around 150 today we are running 225, we’ve grown into a thriving congregation that has seen multiple services top 400 people at various times throughout the years. Our growth has caused the need to launched a second service, and celebrated over 150 baptisms as lives have been eternally transformed. Our kids ministry has faithful instill biblical truth and grace into the lives of the children who come to this church. We’ve built a vibrant Youth Ministry that now consistently draws 90–100 kids each week under stable, Spirit-led leadership, and we’ve had the profound privilege of launching more than a dozen of our own people into vocational ministry. All of our current staff have been launched out of our church because we believe in raising up pastoral leadership.

What started as simple gatherings has blossomed into life-changing ministries like a thriving Men’s Ministry called The Coalition complete with range days, Top Golf trips, conferences, and The Transfer Podcast and Sisterhood with DFL trips, float trips, brunches, and the Milestones Podcast. Our Hospitality Team facilitating the Pour Over’s with Pastors and Next Steps process have created a welcoming front door, while more than 110 volunteers now serve faithfully every week, giving us a powerful foothold of influence in our community through countless Serve Week projects and outreach efforts.

Financially and facility-wise, the faithfulness of this family has been breathtaking. We’ve more than doubled annual giving, begun tithing on the tithe as a church, paid off the kids’ building debt, and poured over a quarter-million dollars “beyond the walls” in spontaneous generosity and supporting ministries like DCCSAN, Reaching a Generation and Home of Grace.

Those resources have fueled a total transformation of our campus: expanded parking, a new livestream production studio, a remodeled café, stage, foyer, and Kids Center, a complete rebrand, and—most exciting of all—the construction of a dedicated Youth Building. Behind the scenes, we’ve solidified an incredible staff, strengthened our board with professional policies and financial accountability, and positioned ourselves for sustained health and growth. These aren’t just statistics—they’re stories of changed lives, restored families, and a church that has chosen faith over fear again and again.

These aren’t just numbers—they’re testimonies of God’s faithfulness, restored families, and a church choosing faith over fear again and again.

The Mandate (Mission)

We believe Jesus established the Local Church—including JFA—to fulfill three unchanging biblical assignments.
Any time our standards or strategies fall outside these, we are out of alignment.

Nurture the Saints

Equipping believers to grow into spiritual maturity.
Ephesians 4:11–16
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
1 Peter 5:1–5
So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Evangelize the Lost

Reaching people far from Christ with the hope of the gospel.
Matthew 28:16–20
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Acts 1:6–8
So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Show Compassion to the Community

Serving the hurting through acts of mercy.
Matthew 25:37–40
Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
2 Corinthians 2:14–16
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?

Mountains to Climb (2026–2031)

To see our mission fulfilled, we are setting measurable, faith-filled goals for the next five years.

Spiritual & Discipleship Goals

Over the next 5 years we want to see 50 members of JFA baptize 250 new believers into the kingdom. We believe that within 5 years we will see an average attendance of 320-350 people in our Sunday worship services.

Growth & Stability

For the long term health of JFA we have a goal to pay off the brand new youth facility debt within 5 years and remodel the sanctuary and foyer.

Missions & Outreach

We believe the Lord is leading us to make a bigger impact on the missions field. We intend to increase our beyond the walls giving 1% per year for the next 5 years, start taking missions trips and develop more robust partnerships with our current missions projects.

Leadership Development

We believe God has called people in our congregation to a higher level of leadership. We believe over the next 5 years we are going to see 3 people sent into full-time ministry assignments, 15 new leaders in personalized discipleship opportunities, and people discovering the gifting that God has placed in their lives.

Kingdom-Sized Dreams

We believe that the Lord has called us to impact out community. We want to see a Upper Class-man mentorship program that launches young people to success, a more robust benevolence process, championing other local churches in their mission and helping bring justice and healing to the most vulnerable in our community.

We will track key indicators of health over the next five years.
